What's it about?
- You activate your chasings GPS and transmit your position to our server.
- Your data and the data of other chaser are displayed on maps and will be live updated.
- As a participant, you have access to the positions data of the network and so you can implement your own ideas.
What are the requirements?
- You are an active stormchaser, maybe even Skywarn member.
- You have mobile internet, optimal with flatrate or high data volume.
- You have a mobile device with GPS function.
- You can prove, that you do your interest with role model effect. There are no negative impressions about you possessing a willingness of danger or risky driving style.
What is supported?
- Android (by app, Meteopool-App with maximum energy saving is in progress)
- iOS (by app, - partly filled with errors)
- Other systems are currently being tested or have to be reviewed. Don't hesitate to work with us either.
How can I participate?
- Register your own Meteopool account.
- Sende uns eine Write a mail or contact us on Facebook. Tell us your desire and transmit all of your data, that helps to recognise your integrity during chasing.
- If your request is accepted, we'll activate your account. After that, you can freely manage your GPS transmissions and send data.
