reset
Resets every setting except language. Cannot be undone.
GPU objects, memory and a timestamped log. The log survives a reload, so a crash leaves a trace.

baked grid
Grid iso surfaces (not native iso) use this grid, in live view and playback. 0 = auto: 0.35 km voxels, max 832×832×112 (448×448×80 on touch).
×
centre: one sample, fast, can miss peaks. mean: smooth, but dilutes peaks. max: keeps peaks and stops iso surfaces shrinking, but reads high.
cell taps: samples per voxel across the whole cell. Each one is a texture read, so 4×4×4 costs 64×.

path timing
Retime keyframes to equal intervals, keeping the total duration (needs 3+). Unlike pacing, this does move keyframes.
animation buffer cost
Time spent on the last buffer run. Build time adds up parallel downloads, so it can be longer than wall time. Bakes run one at a time.
nothing buffered yet
build cost
Load time per stage since the last buffer run started. The largest one is what slows buffering.

velocity dealiasing
Used by dealiased velocity, rotation and divergence. Speeds beyond the Nyquist velocity fold to the other end of the scale; this unfolds them.
Unfold against the previous or next scan when it has a higher Nyquist velocity. Fixes sectors one scan can't resolve, at the cost of one more download.
After aligning tilts, also check each gate against the tilts above and below. Slower; needs “across tilts”.
rotation / divergence kernel
The LLSD fit behind rotation and divergence. Sized in metres, so it covers the same area at every range.
